The fitting of solar power has many benefits for your camper van. It’ll keep your leisure battery in great condition, keeping it topped up and preserving its life. It’ll also give you extra charging power without having to be connected to chargers or 240v hook ups, giving you more freedom to roam.
Our range of Flexi PV semi-flexible solar panels are supplied either fully fitted or as complete kits. All kits provide everything required for DIY enthusiasts to undertake the straightforward installation onto the roof or deck of motorhomes or camper vans. Base Campers supply Flexi PV and can arrange a free site visit to discuss all of the various options available.

PV logic flexi panels
Superior Design
The Flexi PV design has no sharp or square edges, and a unique curved junction box which is both bonded and mechanically fixed to the panel. It also has added strain relief around the fitted 4m UV stabilised PV cable, ensuring it can’t be accidentally pulled from the junction box.
Easy Fix
The Flexi range can be bonded to flat or slightly curved surfaces (3cm curve per metre), like painted aluminium, metal, GRP and fibreglass using a bonding agent. The aluminium layer is also pre-drilled with 4.5mm holes if the panel needs to be mechanically fixed as well as or instead of bonding.
Warranty
The Flexi range is setting new standards with a 5 year product and a 20 year performance warranty.**
**Cell performance warranty states that at 20 years the cell output will be no less than 80% of new performance values – i.e the cell degradation rate will be no greater than 20% in 20 years.
Self-healing Top Surface
The ETFE top layer provides a robust anti-slip surface and has a self-healing capacity in the event the panel comes into contact with branches, etc.
Completely Waterproof
Each panel has a 6 layer heavy duty laminate protecting the solar cell circuit from extreme conditions. The junction box is also injected with special silicon, guaranteeing no ingress of water.
Cells Protected from Hot Spots
The larger 60w and 80w PV Logic Flexi panels have up to two shading diodes housed within the fully waterproof junction box to prevent damage.
