VW T5 Pop top roof
Slim line elevating roofs for the VW T5 Short Wheel Base (SWB) and Long Wheel Base (LWB)
Base Campers can supply and fit a high quality pop up roof to your VW T5.
The pop top roof lid itself is light weight, strong and offers great insulation qualities. We only use this tried and tested pop top due to its high quality, reliability and excellent finish.
The canvas is water resistant and light weight, and on each side there are zip opening widows with anti-mosquito net blinds. To the front is a fixed PVC window with a zip blind and top vent.
The pop up roof comes with two gas struts, scissor hinges and fixing basket and most importantly a full strengthening frame.
To keep everything in place while on the move we have fitted strong tie down straps.
This roof has been specially designed, improved and very user friendly compared to the next most well know pop top roof supplier.
Pop top options
- A second bed is avalible which fits into the roof to make your camper into a 4 berth campervan. Bed and foam is £300.
- All our VW T5 elevating roofs come in a white gel coat and they are then painted in your own colour. Custom paint cost £200 plus paint.

As with all Base Camper conversions, the elevating roof comes with a 12 month guarantee on parts and workmanship.
